Gambino Vini
Location: Nested on the side of Mt Etna, Sicily’s active volcano overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This Sicilian Vineyard is the highest elevation vineyard on Mt. Etna.
Vines: The grapes grown on Mt. Etna are nerello mascalese, nerello cappuccio, catarratto, and carricante. Other varietals, such as grillo, cabernet sauvignon and nero d’avola are grown at the vineyards in central Sicily.
Soil: Mineral-rich volcanic soil provides a balance of elements in the vineyard that makes our what we do possible
Cantina Del Vesuvio
Location: Located on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius.
Vines: The grapes grown in this vineyard include Caprettone and Piedirosso.
Soil: The soil here is rich in potassium and contains numerous minerals due to the nature of volcanic soil.
